Our Network
The network we use contains only the best connections available, like:
AMS-IX, Global Crossing, Level3, etc.
The total external capacity of the network is currently 50 Gbit. The network is built up fully redundant via the routers and our own core switches, so we can guarantee a 99.95% network uptime on an annual base. All switches in our racks get at least 2x 10 Gbit uplinks to guarantee a very good and high uptime.
The network with AS 57172 has direct connections with
international carriers in Amsterdam (Global Switch), Rotterdam (R-ix)
and Rotterdam (SmartDC), which is unique for a datacenter outside of
Amsterdam. The network is setup fully redundant with Brocade XMR routers. The switching is done by Brocade MLX8 routers with each at least 2x 10 Gbit fiber uplinks per rackswitch. These routers are placed in a redundant
setup; when there is a problem on one of the switches, the traffic still
continues to run with only a few seconds of interruption. The network consists of only the best connections like: AMS-IX, Global Crossing, HighWinds, Telia, Level3, Abovenet, etc.
